I will be directing a one-night event for the Boston Lyric Opera, Feb 7, 6 PM. at District Hall, 75 Northern Ave, Boston. This evening will feature selections from Benjamin Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia, as well as Shakespeares’ poetic text and current survivor testimonials. The BLO invites members of the community to reflect on the themes of hope and survival while exploring the dark subject of this opera. A discussion including the performers and the CEO of Boston Rape Crisis Center will follow .
